I have a Lenovo T60p laptop computer and until recently the charger was working just fine and then just stopped working. I had used the charger one morning and it worked, then when I was getting it from my bag to use it again I dropped it (maybe 3 or 4 feet) and then it wouldn't work. I can't imagine why dropping it such a short distance would 'break' it, but it worked before that and wouldn't work after. Also, curiosly, if I strike it or drop it while it's plugged in to the wall and computer, the computer light will briefly light up, showing that the charger works. But it will only work for less than a second. If I repeteadly hit it (e.g. against my leg) I can get it to work as long as I keep hitting it over and over again. Clearly this isn't the solution I want. My question is - can I fix it? What happened to it? Do I just need a new charger? Any idea? Please help. Thanks! I didn't find the right solution from the Internet. References www.computerhope.com/forum/index.php?topic=96947.0animated whiteboard videos
